Lighthouse Tale

500.00

A serendipitous stroll through Discovery Park. I'd arrived in Seattle in the early morning waiting to meet with friends later that afternoon flying in from the East Coast. Sleepless and without accommodations, I searched for a nice public place to hang my hat to catch up on some rest. Admittedly, I looked homeless; like a transient vagabond, unkempt and equipped with my backpacks I was shooed away from most public lawns. I took a bus to the farthest limits of the city and found myself in Discovery Park. On what I understand to be an unusually clear day, I made my way to West Point for unobstructed views of Downtown Seattle and Mt. Rainer in the distance. In hindsight, I'm glad that I looked homeless.
