A standard beveled mug, this is my preferred profile for a mug. As you can see, I like the simple geometry, in part because it’s orderly like the Greek Meander key, but also because I’m incapable of creating consistent sinuous objects. You can’t tell from photos, but I like to weight these mugs with 3/4” thick base; making these things almost the exact opposite of an elephant, with a very low center of gravity, as opposed to top heavy like an elephant. More weeble wobble than mug, this thing feels great in your hands. The same cannot be said about other mugs on this digital store…
